Southeast Asian nations are taking tough action to stop the spread of deadly COVID-19. That tops the April 2020 edition of “ASEAN Today.”

Raissa Chentami of the Indonesia Channel anchors the program from Jakarta. She also reports on the virtual summit of ASEAN and other Asian leaders in Viet Nam, and how monks in Thailand are turning trash into tools to fight the global pandemic.

This is the 98th episode in the informative and entertaining series now in its 11th year of broadcast, and can be viewed on the internet (https://youtu.be/cc-Jgjq7Z14) as well as through ASEAN broadcasters such as the Indonesia Channel and Viet Nam’s VOV-Tv.

“ASEAN Today” is a joint production of the ASEAN secretariat and the Indonesia Channel. Some materials are provided by broadcasters in member countries. Check local listings for broadcast times. For more information, contact Raissa Chentami at [email protected].
