The Brunei Medical Board (BMB) is the authority in Brunei Darussalam responsible for regulating Medical Practitioners (Doctors) and Dental Practitioners (Dentists) working in Brunei Darussalam.
It is one of the main roles of Brunei Medical Board to register and license medical and dental practitioners. Any medical and dental practitioners who wants to practise their profession in Brunei Darussalam has to be registered with the Brunei Medical Board, and thereafter need a licence for clinical practice. This applies whether working full time or part time, in the government, in the private sector, employed or self-employed, or working as a locum.
Brunei Medical Board also plays a main role in ensuring the public safety by promoting and ensuring the highest standards amongst doctors and dentists in areas of:
All doctors and dentists are bound to the Good Medical and Dental Practice Guideline provided by Brunei Medical Board.
Applicant who holds Basic Medical/Dental Degree (MBBS, MBChB, MD, BDS, BDSc etc) from Institutions which are recognised and approved by Brunei Medical Board.

To Practise as a Medical/Dental Practitioner in Brunei Darussalam
Medical/Dental practitioners to apply for eligibility to register with Brunei Medical Board through an employing healthcare facility in Brunei Darussalam. Once eligibility to register is approved, the medical/dental practitioner must obtain medical/dental registration and a practising certificate with Brunei Medical Board, and have their name added to the Register before they can practise in Brunei Darussalam.
